DELTACAST and MAGMA announce compatibility between DELTACAST broadcast I/O video cards and the MAGMA Thunderbolt™ and Thunderbolt™ 2 enabled chassis.
Combining DELTACAST broadcast video cards with the MAGMA Thunderbolt™ chassis allows broadcasters and video professionals to migrate workflows to newer Thunderbolt™ enabled workstations while protecting their investment in hardware. Creative professionals will also be able to take advantage of Thunderbolt™, 10Gbps, and Thunderbolt™ 2, 20Gbps, lighting fast transfer speeds.

The compatibility certification includes DELTACASTVideoMasterHD driver support giving access to theircost-effective OEM PCI Express video cards for SDI SD-HD-3G-6G, ASI, DVI and HDMI™ interfacing, and dedicated solutions for linear keying & codec applications based on a unified SDK under Windows, Linux and Mac OS.
MAGMA Thunderbolt™ and Thunderbolt™ 2 enabled chassis includes the ExpressBox1T, ExpressBox3T, and ROBEN-3 family. This family of products gives professionals a wide range of flexibility in customizing their own solutions, from 1-slot expansion to 3-slot expansion, and the option to combine storage in one single chassis.
