Tuesday, February 18, 2014 - 4K60 Free Upgrades
DELTACAST announces the imminent availability of a new VideoMasterHD software version that adds full support for 4K video at frame rates up to 60fps on the existing DELTA-3G-elp 40, DELTA-3G-elp-d 40 and DELTA-3G-elp-d 04 cards.
DELTACAST is also working on the next version bringing support for 4K50 and 4K60 HDMI 4:2:0 input signals on the DELTA-h4k-elp 20.
As always, VideoMasterHD software updates remain free of charge.
DELTACAST supports 4K50 and 4K60 on the following products:
DELTA-3G-elp 40 and DELTA-3G-elp-d 40
Completely equivalent from mechanical and functional features points of view, those two cards host four 3G SDI inputs, flavored as traditional BNC connectors or more compact DIN 1.0/2.3 connectors. Both use a PCI low-profile form factor. The DELTA-3G-elp(-d) 40 can simultaneously run 4 independent capture channels at up to 1080p60 and 2Kp60, even on different signal formats, and also supports the VideoMasterHD Thumbnail feature (quarter-resolution preview picture). The 4 inputs can be combined to ingest a UHDTV-1 (3840x2160) or 4K DCI (4096x2160) signal at up to 60 frames per second. The application can choose to either receive four separate quadrant buffers or one single, hardware-merged, 4K buffer. |
DELTA-3G-elp-d 04
The DELTA-3G-elp-d 04 hosts four 3G SDI output channels and a genlock input on a PCI low-profile form factor card. That compact card can run four independent transmissions at up to 1080p60 and 2Kp60. The genlock input accepts both SD blackburst and HD tri-level reference signals. The 4 outputs can be combined to transmit UHDTV-1 (3840x2160) or 4K DCI (4096x2160) signals at up to 60 frames per seconds. The application can choose to either deal with four separate quadrant buffers or with one single 4K buffer. |
